Chris Malone is the Senior member and Head of the Medical Negligence and Personal Injury Department at Powell and Co.

Chris qualified as a Solicitor in 1986 having studied Law at Durham University and Leeds University. He is the founder of Powell & Co, setting up the firm in 1989.

Chris has over 30 years’ experience of dealing with Medical Negligence cases and complex/high value Personal Injury matters. He has a particular interest and specialism in dealing with serious brain and spinal injury claims including birth injuries, cerebral palsy, surgical and cancer cases.

Chris has a wide range of accreditations, reflecting his experience and specialisms. He is one of the few Clinical Negligence Solicitors in the country who is accredited to the Specialist Clinical Negligence Lawyer’s Panels of both the Law Society and Charity Action Against Medical Accidents. He is also an accredited panel member of the Spinal Injuries Association and member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Chris lives locally in Greenwich with his family. In his spare time, he enjoys the cinema, theatre, football and cycling, and is a keen supporter of Middlesbrough Football Club.
